The tour will begin by visiting Filerimos Monastery. Here you may walk along the path of the “GOLGOTHA”, lined intermittingly by shrines depicting scenes of the Holy Passion, meet local peackocks and enjoy the amazing views.
Then we will head to the amazing Valley of the Butterflies where thousands of butterflies congregate in the cool shade of the maple trees. They make this epic journey during the period June to September.
Finally we will visit the 7 Springs. The combination of crystal-clear waters with pine and plate trees creates a peaceful scenery, offering the visitor relaxing moments. We have a walk through a very narrow dark tunnel 186 meters long which will take us to the lake.
Enjoy the tour without rash, big groups and spend as much time as you like at each place.

The Filerimos hill rises nearly 267 meter/876 feet above sea level. Here you’ll visit the Church of Our Lady, built upon the foundations of the ancient temple of Athena. You’ll also see the exterior of the monastery and courtyard, as well as the barrel-vaulted Chapel of St. George. On the right hand side there is a beautiful tree sheltered pathway the “Way of the Cross” This is a series of shrines with relief scenes of the Passion, which leads from the main square to the west edge of the plateau to the 16 meter/48 feet cross, from which you can enjoy a stunning view.
Our next “green destination”will be the amazing Valley of the Butterflies. This site is beautifully arranged with wooden bridges and from mid-June until mid-September it`s a home to thousands of butterflies.
